Since 1999, Equinox has been one of Washington, DC’s premier private dining and catering resources - elevating the standards for fine dining and catering in DC and beyond. Combining the superior culinary work of five-time James Beard Award-nominated Chef Todd Gray and his partner, event planner/designer, Ellen Kassoff, they provide a forward-thinking vision for Equinox on 19th events.

Our events team specializes in rehearsal dinners, weddings, social gatherings, and corporate events. We are dedicated to creating harmonious celebrations that are sustainable, flexible, and seasonal, adapting to the ever-changing landscape of social gatherings.

The ambiance at Equinox on 19th captures the essence of a modern brasserie in the heart of the city. Our interior features a cozy fireplace, a 40-seat bar, two reception areas for pre-function gatherings, and two private dining rooms. With its upscale yet casual decor, the space exudes a chic urban atmosphere.

We strive to ensure that our supply chain is ethical, that our food is representative of the current season, and that it is sourced as locally as possible. Mid-Atlantic & Seasonal

We believe that food should be sourced based on the season. This practice is sustainable, natural, and deeply rooted. We value seasonal food procurement and have applied those principles to our menu. We are devoted to the diversity of our beautiful region and committed to foods grown locally.
